Supermarket
As research for production of the new animated work "Supermarket", the author visited Thailand and Singapore, the logistics hubs of Southeast Asia The author hopes to create a story from the viewpoint of the globalized modern "supermarket", and develop that story by imagining when and where familiar products come from. As such the purpose of this project is to obtain inspiration for the work by staying in Singapore, known as the port city "Singapura" since the 14th century, as well as Thailand, which in addition to being an industrialized country itself, is also a place where products made in the factories of neighboring countries are gathered together. In addition, the author researches independent animation culture in the two countries.
