在ベトナム25年の日本人女性・小松みゆきが書いた「越後のBaちゃん、ベトナムへ行く」を日越合作で映画化した。年老いて、認知症の気配もある母親をベトナムに連れて行き、ハノイの下町で一緒に暮らす物語で、映画の邦題は「ベトナムの風に吹かれて」。本事業では映画の試写会も日越両国で開催し、日越の映画人の交流を図ると共に観客を交えたシンポジウムを行った。
