New Work "Global Baby Factory part 2": A research and network construction for creation
The author covers the current situation of the surrogacy and childbirth business in Thailand as well as an incident in which a wealthy Japanese man used surrogate mothers in Thailand which occurred in August 2014, and summarizes these matters in the play “Global Baby Factory II”, then presents it as a dramatic work. The author also surveys the current state of social theater and documentary theater in Thai contemporary theater (the state of creation, theater and spectator's preferences), summarizes this in a report, and builds a network with creators who are interested in work while linking this with Japanese contemporary theater, especially theater and society.
